Black & white—>matches everything.
I saw this idea on Stumble Upon and decided to give it a try. I used twine for the white bracelet and embroidery floss on the rest of them. I was definitely lost in the hardware store looking for hex nuts, and bronze hex nuts are nearly impossible to find in large quantities at Lowe’s. The black and bronze bracelet is my favorite!
Polka dot, tulip back, crop top tank..summer is coming to an end, but I couldn’t let this project hold off until next summer. Love how it looks with my vintage Levi shorts, but I have a feeling this top would look great with some skinny jeans and possibly a side of stacked bangles—gold to be specific.
I made this fringe shirt from knit jersey—the same material as a Hanes T-Shirt, basically. It’s a great day shirt, but I wish I had made it in a fun color. Oh well, white shirts are essential. Enjoy!
This dress is a birthday present for a friend, and it turned out so well that I wanted to keep it for myself..but, how selfish. The cream color is actually lace (I know, always putting lace on everything). This is a great color for people with a dark summer tan, because it isn’t too bright but it has enough color to compliment the skin.
I made this fun turquoise tulip skirt for a friend’s birthday. The color is perfect for summer, and the cream outlining gives it an extra pop.
